Now Accepting for the Class of 2025

The Georgia Dental Association is pleased to announce that the Leadership GDA program is now accepting applications and nominations for the Class of 2025. The Leadership GDA program is dedicated to developing leadership skills among member dentists who aspire to enhance their overall leadership effectiveness while also elevating their visibility within Georgia’s dental community. 

For your application to be considered, the Georgia Dental Association must receive your completed application form by December 31, 2024.

Please complete all sections of this form by December 31, 2024. (Please note: This form should take approx. 15-20 mins to complete and must be completed in one session.)

All applicants will be notified of their acceptance status by January 31, 2025.

Time Commitment
Applicants should be prepared to commit to the full schedule of Leadership GDA. The nine-month program includes the following time commitments:

  • Two full-day (approx. 10a.m. - 3:30p.m) sessions scheduled for May 16, 2025 and a Friday date, to be determined for October 2025.
  • One virtual, weeknight meeting to be held in August.
  • Time allocated to reading assigned material.
  • Completing your choice of electives (2 required):
    • Attendance at a District Meeting.
    • Volunteer at Special Olympics, Special Smiles.
    • Attendance at GDA Convention (New Dentist Reception/Leadership GDA Mixer.)
    • Participate in or volunteer at GDA Foundation Pull for Smiles.
    • Speak at a DCG Lunch & Learn.
    • Community service projects or events (self-selected.) 
  • Mentoring the 2026 Leadership GDA Class.

Since 2016, Leadership GDA has provided a unique platform for members to:

  • Develop and establish sustainable management practices

  • Expand your organizational impact

  • Build state-wide alliances, and more.
