OSHA – “OSHA is Here! No Need to Fear”

HIPAA – “Locking Down Privacy and Security: Protecting Patient Information”
It has been close to 25 years since the HIPAA Privacy Rule was published, soon to be followed by the Security Rule. And yet, almost daily there are reports of inappropriate access of patient information either by staff members or cybercriminals. Does your practice diligently protect information? This session will review the key elements of both the Privacy and Security rules. There will be a focus on the patient’s right to access health information, dealing with a breach, and important elements of cybersecurity.

Infection Control and Dental Unit Waterlines Management
This two-hour infection control virtual webinar will address how to protect both the clinician, and patient from potential disease-causing organisms through OSHA's bloodborne pathogens standard, as well as PPE, handwashing, disinfection, and sterilization techniques. It will also address dental waterline safety issues and how the dental office can combat dental unit waterline biofilms, and meet EPA and CDC requirements. This course will be hosted on Zoom and fulfills the two-hour Georgia Board of Dentistry CE requirement for dentists and hygienists.
