Georgia Department of Public Health Issues New Survey on Antibiotic Prescribing Habits
Georgia's Department of Public Health aims to learn more about how dentists in the state prescribe antibiotics. They have issued a short survey that should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Antimicrobial resistance is a global challenge, and preventing the spread of drug-resistant germs requires concerted efforts by every health professional. In the United States, more than 2.8 million antimicrobial-resistant infections occur each year, and more than 35,000 people die as a result.
