Phlebotomy Training - Hands-on Requirements and Details
This is a phlebotomy and IV access course. During this course Attendees will be participating in learning activities (“Activities”) that require the use of human subjects as part of the curriculum. As such this course will require you to perform certain skills on other Attendees; and other Attendees will perform certain skills on you. These Activities are essential to the learning process and the clinical application of the skills and knowledge being provided during the course. As such, PARTICIPATION IS A REQUIREMENT OF THE COURSE.
If you have a Condition that would prohibit you from fully participating in these Activities, you should consult with GDA for a determination of whether your participation in the Course can be accommodated prior to Registering. In the event a condition arises after you register that would prohibit you from fully participating you MUST advise the GDA in advance so that a determination can be made as to whether reasonable accommodation is possible or if attendance can be rescheduled and/or canceled as appropriate. If you have questions regarding this PARTICIPATION POLICY, please direct them to education@gadental.org.
Furthermore, Attendees agree to adhere to the current recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (C.D.C.) for preventing transmission of bloodborne pathogens, and all other communicable diseases to patients.
